ADMISSION PROCEDURE
HOW TO APPLY
Students seeking admission can obtain the application form and prospectus from the Principal of the college in person by paying Rs. 300 for B.Sc (Nursing) and Rs. 200 for General Nursing. Students can also obtain the application and prospectus by post by sending a D.D. of Rs. 350 for B.Sc (Nursing) and Rs. 250 for General Nursing in favour of The Secretary of Correspondent, Sri Padmavathi College of Nursing, Guntakal payable at Guntakal.
COPY OF CERTIFICATES TO BE ENCLOSED WITH THE APPLICATION
- X Class certificate cum marks
- Intermediate / HSC / PDC / +2 / Vocational Certificate with mark list
- Transfer Certificate
- Caste Certificate of the SC, ST and BC ‘C’ students
- Two copies of passport size photographs
- Two self-addressed and stamped envelopes (Rs. 8/- each)
- Migration Certificate from students of other states
- Certificate of Physical Fitness from an Assistant Civil Surgeon
SELECTION
- The selection Committee will scrutinize the applications Merit list will be prepaid on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidates, who are selected will be asked to appear for an interview. The candidates appearing for interview has to bear their own expenses for travelling. The selected candidates must be prepared to pay the fees immediately. The candidates should bring all the original certificates to the interview.
FEES PARTICULARS
- As per the direction of University and State Government Mess and Hostel Fees are liable to be changed at anytime based on inflation.
- All the students should pay the Mess and Hostel Fees on or before the 10th of every month.
- The fees paid will not be refunded to the students who discontinue the course.
UNIFORM & BOOKS
- The Students are expected to buy the prescribed uniform and books on their own cost.
ATTENDANCE
- 75% in Theory and 100% in Practical attendance is must for attending the University / Board Examinations.
LEAVE
- Vacation will be given as per the rules of NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and directions from the Director of Medical Education, Amaravathi.
- Special leave will be granted only for genuine reasons.
EXAMINATION
- Candidates should appear for theory and practical examinations of NTR University of Health Sciences for B.Sc Nursing, and Board of General Nursing Examination under the Director of Medical Education, Amaravathi, at the end of each academic year.
- Examination fees must be paid every year as per University and Government rules.
- Internal assessment tests will be conducted for each subject.
